I started my career writing code. Twenty-one years later, I lead teams that build the financial systems powering governments, hospitals, and businesses across America.
I’m Ankur Verma, a technology executive with a rare obsession: the place where software meets finance. From leading e-commerce and loyalty platforms at Sears, to helping drive a successful exit at OpenGov where we built a SaaS Financial ERP, to now leading 360° AI transformation in debt servicing and revenue cycle management at Credence. My career has been a relentless pursuit of building things that actually matter.
These days, alongside my executive responsibilities, I invest serious time educating myself in the finance domain, going deep into accounting, financial controls, and the principles that underpin the systems I help build. And increasingly, I’m doing all of it with AI as a force multiplier, using it to learn faster, lead smarter, and reimagine how technology teams deliver value in a world that’s changing faster than ever.
